Registered Massage Therapist & Certified Sports Injury Therapist

In addition to being a Registered Massage Therapist, Sharlton Hercules is a Certified Sports Injury Therapist who combines both therapies, to offer a complete approach to rehabilitation.

Sharlton is a graduate of the Sports Administration Program at Durham College. He received two diplomas (with honours) in Massage Therapy and Sports Injury Therapy at the Canadian Therapeutic College in 2008. Sharlton has also completed in the Medical Acupuncture program through Mc Master University and is a Certified Emergency Medical Responder under the Canadian Red Cross.

Sharlton focuses on deep tissue massage, muscle energy, strain-counterstrain, myofascial release, joint mobilization, therapeutic ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, interferential current, LASER therapy and athletic taping and bracing support.

Sharlton has worked in the fitness industry since 1999, as a Certified Personal Trainer and Director of Fitness at a number of gyms in Toronto. Sharlton has significant experience as a therapist for N.W.H.L.’s Etobicoke Dolphins and C.W.H.L.’s Vaughan Flames and the head therapist for Team Ontario, silver medalist at the 2007 Women’s ESSO National Championship. He has worked with athletes from Team Canada’s, USA’s, Switzerland and Norway’s National and Olympic hockey programs. Sharlton has also worked with the Toronto Raptors mascot from the NBA for the past 5 seasons and members from the Toronto Raptors Dance Pak for 7 years. His bootcamp for the Toronto Raptors Dance Pak auditions, was featured on the television program Raptors Space on NBA TV Canada in November 2010.
